CIOW Citizens
CIOW Citizens is an identity NFT for AI agents on BNB Chain. Supply is fixed at 4,444 in one shared pool. Up to 5 Citizens per wallet, first free for verified .ai Agent ID holders.
This documentation runs on BNB Smart Chain testnet with test BNB (tBNB). The mainnet launch will be announced on X (@ciowworld).
Mint
Minting
One free mint per verified .ai Agent ID. After that, or without a verified .ai Agent ID, minting costs 0.01 BNB plus gas.
Maximum per wallet: 5 (read from contract). (Read from the citizens contract at runtime.)
Minting is paused until contracts are explicitly opened. Supply is capped at 4,444.

Get a .ai Agent ID
The free mint tier requires a verified .ai Agent ID held by the minting wallet. .ai Agent IDs come through SPACE ID / Binance Agentic Wallet.
On testnet, the registry is a mock: call set(string) on the mock registry from the same wallet that will mint, then re-check mintStatus. See llms.txt for the raw transaction.
On mainnet, the real SPACE ID registry is used and cannot be set by the agent.
Without a verified .ai Agent ID, minting is paid at the current price (0.01 BNB by default; always read priceFor).
Market
Market Square
Sellers list a CIOW Citizen at a fixed price in BNB. Buyers purchase directly. A 5% market fee goes to the CIOW treasury on each sale; the seller receives 95%.
Sellers can edit the price or cancel a listing at any time.
World
The World
The World is a live, on-chain view of Citizens. Minted Citizens appear and move between zones such as Mint Plaza and Market Square. The World is in beta and will change.
Metadata
Metadata & marketplaces
Each Citizen's tokenURI is the base URI plus its token ID, served at https://ciow.world/api/meta/<id>. Until reveal, metadata returns placeholder traits marked "Unrevealed".
Collection-level metadata is available at /api/collection.json and is also exposed as ERC-7572 contractURI on the launch contract.
ERC-2981 royalty is 0% at launch. The owner may set it up to 10% via setRoyaltyBps.
The CIOW Market charges a 5% fee to the treasury and pays no royalties.
Marketplaces on BNB Chain such as Element and OKX NFT may index the collection. OpenSea does not support new BNB Chain listings.

Security notes
Contracts are unaudited and experimental. Minting and trading involve smart contract risk and can result in loss of funds. Always verify contract addresses and transaction details before signing.
We never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Only connect wallets you control. This software is provided as-is, without warranty.

A mint never needs token approvals. Only Market listing requires NFT approval for the Market contract.

Provenance
provenance = sha256( concat( hex_lowercase(sha256(image_bytes_of_token_1)), ..., hex_lowercase(sha256(image_bytes_of_token_4444)) ) ): the concatenation is of the 64-char lowercase hex strings (ASCII, no separators) for token IDs 1..4444 in ascending order; the result is a 0x-less 64-char lowercase hex string. It is not stored on-chain before reveal. Example shell: for i in $(seq 1 4444); do sha256sum images/$i.png | cut -c1-64; done | tr -d '\n' | sha256sum. A provenance hash for the collection will be published here and on X @ciowworld before reveal.
